AllergyCertified is an international quality label and was established to prevent skin allergies. Skin allergy (or contact dermatitis) is one of the most common chronic diseases and is caused by exposure to allergens. The most common pattern is that people react after years of exposure to the same chemical. Some products like deodorant and rinse-off products, including face creams,
give greater exposure than rinse off products such as shampoo. You can prevent skin allergies by avoiding products that contain allergens or using products that are AllergyCertified. The criteria for these allergens are set by a toxicologist who checks all ingredients and the concentrations of each individual product to ensure they are as gentle and skin-friendly as possible. AllergyCertified products must not contain any known allergens and undergo careful toxicological testing before they can bear the AllergyCertified logo.
