Maureen van Aken - founder, owner
I'm Maureen and I'm super happy to represent so many awesome beauty and lifestyle brands! I love the pure, personal contact that forms the basis of every collaboration. It is cool to enthuse and inspire people with innovative ideas and to set things in motion. I am positive, open and clear in my communication and like to work creatively with clients and the press. High quality results are important to me.
After my study International Business Administration and 5 years of sales experience in IT, I started working in the natural cosmetics industry in 1998. For more than 10 years I was responsible for designing and building up the marketing & sales department of a renowned natural cosmetics brand, after which I started my own PR & Marketing agency and set up a webshop. Throughout my career I have been active internationally.
In my spare time I like to walk along the Reeuwijkse puddles or on the beach, when the weather is nice I sail around the puddles, do yoga and paint landscapes.
Merel van der Vlist - PR Girl
I am Merel, PR girl at Pure Beauty PR. I am 17 years old and come from Bergambacht. In my spare time I enjoy playing football and tennis. I am now following the Marketing and Communication course at the MBO Utrecht. I am now in the second year of my training. After completing an internship here for six months with great pleasure and conviviality, I have decided to continue working at Pure Beauty PR.
My work at Pure Beauty PR consists of taking care of social media, sending publications to customers, updating the website, creating banners and many more fun things!
I had a very nice internship period at Pure Beauty PR and that is why I am particularly pleased that I can continue to work for Maureen!
